Get Ready for a Fresh, New Alli Experience!

Big news! Later this month, we’ll be launching a comprehensive UI upgrade to the Alli platform. This platform redesign marks our most significant UI enhancement since 2018, streamlining the user experience and elevating the platform’s design.

Highlights Include:

  • New Collapsible Side Navigation: Get ready for an expansive view of the platform! The new side navigation is designed to collapse, allowing the platform to display at full screen. This means better visibility for your large omnichannel, global dashboards, and our cutting-edge AI-powered Creative Insights tool.
  • Simplified Navigation: We've decluttered and clarified the side nav menu, making it easier to find what you need.
    • The “Reporting” section will be changed to “Data”
    • The “My Apps” section will be removed, one point of access to “Marketplace”
    • “Manage Client” and “Cloud Storage” will be under “Settings” in the bottom left of the navigation bar
  • Integrated Top Nav: To make features more accessible and navigation less buried, we're integrating the top toggle bar into the side nav. This change means you can explore the full depth of the platform with ease, making every feature readily accessible from one place.
  • Light/Dark Modes: Tailor your platform's look to match your desktop environment or personal preference with our new light and dark modes. It's a fun way to personalize your Alli experience.

This upgrade is all about making Alli work better for you, thanks to valuable feedback from our community. Many have expressed a desire for full-screen dashboards and more intuitive navigation—consider it done.

Important Notice: Upcoming Code Freeze ❄️

As we approach the busy holiday season, we want to inform you about an important upcoming event: Code Freeze.

What is Code Freeze?

During this period, which begins on Tuesday, November 14th and continues until Tuesday, January 2nd, our engineering and development teams will temporarily halt the release of new features and code changes to Alli. Instead, our focus will be on ensuring the stability and reliability of our platform to provide you with the best possible experience during this critical time, while also working on some exciting features launching in early 2024.

Why Code Freeze?

Code freeze is essential to maintain a stable environment, especially during the high-demand holiday season. It allows us to fine-tune our systems, optimize performance, and prevent any unexpected disruptions.

What to Expect?

While there won't be new features released during the code freeze, you can still enjoy our platform as usual. We'll be actively monitoring for any issues, and our support team will be available to assist you promptly with any questions or concerns.

Unlock insights with Alli’s latest revolutionary feature

Who hasn’t wanted to talk to Alli? 

Now, you can! 

With the latest feature drop from the Alli Data team, Ask Alli revolutionizes the way you can interact with the platform to discover data-backed insights and pull dynamic reporting!

Ask Alli utilizes advanced AI to process your natural language search queries. No need to be a data expert—simply type your questions in plain English. Whether you're analyzing campaign performance, audience behavior, or budget pacing, Ask Alli provides instant visualizations, reporting tables, and SQL statements.

Your search can use natural language, so you don’t have to worry about your technical or analytical proficiency. Examples of burning questions you can ask are: 

  • “Can you show me the performance of TikTok vs Snapchat vs Meta for the past 7 days?” 
  • “What are my best performing audiences?”
  • “How is my social budget pacing over the last month?”
  • “How is monthly performance for my fall men's line during the fourth quarter?”

So, how does it work? 

Ask Alli uses several different large language models (LLMs), including OpenAI’s GPT, creating a proprietary AI model with PMG in full control of privacy, providing pristine protection of client data. 

To unlock this level of data accessibility, Ask Alli also marks the launch of Alli Certified Datasources. Alli Certified Datasources, the backbone of Ask Alli, ensure clean, cross-channel data accessibility. Designed by the Data Engineering team, these datasources are clean and harmonized, making Ask Alli a powerful cross-channel analytics tool. Certified Datasources allow you to unlock comprehensive full-funnel, cross-channel insights effortlessly. Ask Alli can utilize any datasources within Alli, however using Certified Datasources is the best way to ensure that visualizations and reporting are accurate and clean–look for the blue checkmark next to the datasource. 

Get started using Ask Alli today, head to “Reporting” in the left nav bar, then “Explorer” in the top toggle bar. Check out this guide to help you uplevel your prompts for more accurate results! Being that it is a new technology, accuracy and performance may vary. We will be making ongoing, consistent updates to the feature over the coming weeks, including refining the model and updating the visualizations. Alli Audiences 🤝 TikTok–Send Your Audiences Directly to TikTok!

TikTok's rise has made it a priority for brands seeking engagement on rapidly growing platforms. In this era of data protection, secure audience targeting is crucial, and that's where Alli Audiences comes into play.

Alli Audiences provides a secure solution to store, segment, and seamlessly deliver your audience lists to various platforms. We're thrilled to announce that Alli Audiences now supports TikTok, joining a roster that includes Google, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon S3, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and the Trade Desk.

With TikTok as our latest platform, you can:

  • Authenticate your TikTok account for audience delivery to TikTok business accounts you have access to.
  • Send your audiences to TikTok for precise campaign targeting within the platform.

Alli is establishing a competitive advantage in managing and analyzing TikTok campaigns. With TikTok datasources integrated into Alli Data, you can collect comprehensive and actionable data to make informed campaign decisions. New Datasources: Snapchat + Salesforce 🤖

Update to Snapchat Datasources

The Snapchat datasource, a valuable tool to bring campaign and performance data into Alli from Snapchat, has an upgrade. Due to an increase in data needed from Snapchat, we've developed a second Snapchat datasource called "Snapchat Structure." 

This new datasource imports campaign-related data like campaign names, ad squads, and ad names, while the original “Snapchat” datasource continues to handle performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, and conversions. 

To maximize your Snapchat data integration within Alli, we recommend using both the Snapchat and Snapchat Structure datasources. Read the documentation about setting up the Snapchat Structure datasource to ensure complete, clean data within Alli.


New Salesforce Datasource

Salesforce is a comprehensive customer relationship management (CRM) platform that empowers marketers to effectively manage customer data, streamline communication, and drive personalized marketing campaigns.

Alli has a new “Salesforce” datasource to connect to Salesforce through a direct API!

With the API connection in place, you can now pull in clean, complete data from Salesforce into Alli automatically and leverage that data for management and reporting.
