Share Workflows in Seconds + Get Started Faster with Templates

What’s New
 Two new ways to move faster in Alli Workflows:
  1. Share any workflow via a simple URL
  2. Start from customizable workflow templates designed to get you halfway (or more!) to a working solution
Workflow Sharing
What’s Changing
  • Every workflow now has a Share option (in the three-dot menu or in the builder)
  • Generates a URL you can paste into Slack, email, or docs
  • When someone clicks the link:
    • They choose a client (from clients they already have access to)
    • A new copy of the workflow is created in their account
Why It Matters to You
  • Speeds up onboarding and handoffs
  • Makes it easy to reuse workflows across clients
  • Enables standardized starting points across your team
Heads-Up
  • Credentials, environment variables, and inputs do NOT copy over 
  • Custom code DOES copy, so avoid hardcoding anything sensitive
  • The recipient must: add inputs to customize for their client or workflow, add their own credentials, and name & save their brand new workflow!
Workflow Templates (Kickstarters)
What’s Changing
  • You’ll now see 4 pre-built workflow templates pinned to the top of the My Workflows tab
  • They’re designed as fast, flexible starting points - not (always) full solutions
  • Each one helps you go from 0 → 100 faster than building from scratch
Available Templates
  • Alli Data → ChatGPT → Slack: Turn live data into team-ready insights, shared instantly in Slack.
  • Google Sheets → Slack: Send Google Sheets updates straight to Slack so your team stays in sync instantly.
  • RSS Feed → ChatGPT → Slack: Stay informed with AI-summarized articles from your top sources, delivered straight to Slack.
  • Airtable → Slack: Automatically send updates from Airtable to Slack so alignment happens in real time.

  • Great for onboarding, prototyping, or sharing best practices
  • Fully customizable for your client’s data, alerts, or reporting needs
  • Save time and reduce guesswork when building common workflows

Audience Planner Updates

What's New:  Roku Segments in Estimated Reach Section 
Why It Matters: Instantly see if Roku is a fit for your audience—personas now surface relevant Roku segments with estimated reach.
How to Action
:
The Roku section now appears in every persona. Review the segments, shortlist what fits, and pass to the Roku team for activation.

What's New: Edit Persona Title

Why It Matters:  Want a more meaningful or relevant persona title? Now you can rename it to match your strategy.
How to Action:
Just hover on the title till you see the "edit" icon. Make a change and save

What's New: Open Web Search on AMA (Current Events)
Why It Matters: Ground your messaging and planning in what’s happening right now—trends, news, cultural moments—so campaigns land in the moment.
How to Action: 
Ask AMA about events coming up , recent news, or cultural moments to see how they intersect with your target audiences.

What's New: Search Personas
Why It Matters: Stop scrolling—start searching. Find personas based on traits and interests, not just titles.
How to Action:
Try searching a trait like “sports” —you’ll uncover any persona where that interest is strong.

One Dashboard → Unlimited Views

Create multiple views of a dashboard in seconds; no need to start from scratch.
You can now duplicate dashboards in Alli and save different versions for your team.
Why it’s useful:
  • Quickly copy an existing dashboard without starting from scratch
  • Keep the same structure but swap in new filters, metrics, or naming
  • Create saved views for different channels, campaigns, or perspectives in minutes
How it works:
  1. Open the dashboard you want to copy
  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to Save → select Duplicate
  3. Update filters (e.g. change from Paid Search → Paid Social)
  4. Rename the dashboard to reflect your changes
  5. Save it and you’re done 
Pro tip: Don’t forget to rename visuals too—use Code View to quickly update titles to match your new filters.
You can duplicate as many times as needed to build out a set of views for your team.

What’s new:

  • Build dashboards instantly from a natural language prompt
  • Powered by Alli’s Cross-Channel View for consistent, comparable metrics
  • Supports multiple dashboard types: campaign recaps, executive summaries, and channel performance views
  • Save dashboards for yourself or share them so anyone with access to the client can use them

Why it matters:
Generative Dashboards make it easier and faster to turn data into insights—no manual setup or dashboard-building experience required.

How to get started:

  1. Go to Dashboards > Generative in Alli’s side navigation
  2. Enter your prompt and click Create
  3. Edit visualizations using prompts or use Code View for more customization

Creative Labs Now Supports Bulk Creative Uploads!

What’s new
 You can now drag and drop an entire folder of ads directly into Creative Labs. All supported file types inside the folder will be uploaded at once—no need to select and upload each creative individually.


Why it matters to you
 This update makes it much faster and easier to set up campaigns with multiple creatives. Whether you're testing variations or uploading a full batch of ads, you’ll save time and reduce repetitive work. It's a small change with a big impact on speed and efficiency.

Period-over-Period Comparison is Here

What's new:

  • You can now compare two time periods side-by-side directly in Data Explorer.
  • Visuals update across charts and tables, and this also works through Ask Alli with natural language questions.

Why it matters to you

  • Spot trends, measure growth, and evaluate performance without manual setup.
  • Use it to answer questions like: “How did CTR compare to last week?” or “Are impressions trending up month over month?”

New Workflow Template: Google Docs - Download File

A quick new way to automate Google Doc downloads in Alli Workflows

What’s new

  • New Google Docs template lets you pull text from a Google Doc and save it as a local .txt file
  • Just like Google Drive or Google Sheets, uses your Alli Client's built in Google Service Account for easy and no-fuss authorization. Just share your Google Doc and keep it moving along!

Why it matters to you

  • Super useful for backing up, transforming, or storing doc content locally
  • Part of our growing library of workflow templates across GSuite

  • 1 headline to be under 15 characters
  • 1 description to be under 60 characters

ChatGPT Workflows Just Leveled Up: Easier Setup + File Embedding! 

Setting up ChatGPT in Alli Workflows is now smoother and smarter:

  • No need for authentication—just plug and play!
  • Insert file contents directly into your prompts! (.txt, .csv, .md)

Here's what you can do now:

  • Insert file content (like a CSV, text file, or Markdown doc) directly into your ChatGPT prompt.
  • Use file references like {{text:filename}} to embed your file content dynamically.
  • Supported Templates:
    • Email: embed .txt into the message field
    • Slack: embed .txt into the message field
    • ChatGPT: embed .txt, .csv, and .md into prompts

This is part of a broader effort to remove friction in how you build Workflows—starting with credentials handled by Alli wherever possible. We’re listening to your feedback and working to rollout out improvements to other templates too and creating new ones to help you work faster & smarter (hello Google Sheets, Alli Data, Airtable, Slack & Email).
