This will help teams troubleshoot and double-check PII files coming from Alli Cloud Storage more easily. The Alli Cloud Storage system is the safest way to manage and transfer PII files, especially when handling private or sensitive customer data.

Pmax Update for Smoother Ad Management
A reminder to our teams running PMax campaigns with Alli, we rolled out an update just before Holiday to improve how the PMax tool handles ad swaps, making our system more efficient and reducing overload issues.
Here's the quick rundown:
- Batched Requests: We’ve implemented a batched system. This means we organize and send requests in groups, reducing server stress and Google API issues.
- Short Delays Possible: Expect some minor waiting times, likely around 5 minutes to an hour, especially during busy periods like around midnight. This helps ensure smoother updates without hitting Google's restrictions.
- Why It Matters: By batching of API calls (requests to Google Ads) continuously and automatically in the background, a little patience means more reliable ad version updates and a smoother experience overall with no disruptions!
We're working hard to minimize delays! By continuously improving, we aim to keep your experience with the Pmax tool as seamless as possible.
If you’d like to get started using the PMax tool in Alli for your clients, you can check out this setup guide.

Google Custom Match Uploader and Alli Audiences
The Alli Audiences tool is getting an upgrade for one of the deployment platforms, Google’s Custom Match Uploader (CMU). With this latest upgrade, two Google platform options will no longer be available to send your audiences: Adwords and ADX Buyer. Adwords has been made available via the Google Ads deployment and ADX Buyer has been retired and no longer supported by Google. No action is required but please be aware of these changes to the Google CMU deployment. Please reach out to the Alli Service Desk for help with workarounds or migration if you are trying to use the Google CMU deployment type.
